When diving, players can come across aggressive symbiotes, Squidsharks, and other ghastly predators, but the land in Subnautica: Below Zeroisn't safe either. Planet 4546B is full of deadly fauna both above water and below. This is the case with Snow Stalker Fur, a fact that will surprise and possibly even frustrate those players that have tried time and time again to figure out how to harvest this resource on their own. Notably, the game rarely encourages the player to go out and hunt predators, as even when they need something from a specific creature, violence isn't usually the answer. Subnautica: Below Zero is a survival game by every definition of the phrase, but it does differ from others in its genre in a few key ways.
